Meagan Jacobi

Meagan Jacobi began Cobico in early 2012 to focus on luxury modern interiors. As Principal of Cobico, Meagan brings 30 years luxury hospitality experience to her projects. She approaches each project with a focus on creating spaces that are responsive to a guests needs while scripting experiences that surprise and delight. Collaborating with owners and operators around the globe, she understands operational requirements and can creatively design spaces to maximize the ROI for owners while meeting the operational criteria.  She has been privileged to work with operators such as Sheraton, Westin, Hyatt, Hilton, Intercontinental, Mandarin Oriental & Four Seasons.

After graduation from California State University in Long Beach, CA, she began her hospitality career with Chhada Siembieda Remedios in 1994, crafting her skills in luxury urban and resort design. Her experience includes all phases of design from concept through construction administration for both domestic and international projects.  With high creativity and strong project management, she quickly rose to be the Design Manager of many prestigious internationally renowned projects. She managed the office of 35 staff as the Director of Project Management for several years before accepting an opportunity at a larger architectural design firm.

To build upon her 13 years of luxury hospitality interiors focus with CSR, she joined WATG in 2007 to work with a world renowned architectural and design firm to gain the opportunity to work in a more integrated structure with architecture and build her knowledge of other consultant requirements to allow for more seamless project delivery.  WATG architects utilized her strong planning and creativity for interiors to assist dozens of architectural projects each year for unique interior layouts in addition to the full scope ID projects she led as a Senior Designer and Associate with the firm.

Her experience with top hospitality design firms has allowed her to hone her design & project management experience for projects ranging from public spaces, guestrooms, luxury suites, service apartments, luxury condominiums, specialty restaurants and bars, destination spas to boutique retail. Her extensive experience in concept creation, design development and construction documentation ensures the creation of a coordinated and cohesive design package.  She thrives on the opportunity to create unique environments for the guest while developing a  design which brings a tangible value to her clients.
